The Charles Wesley Music Foundation is pleased to announce that it has received a $2,500 grant from the Sewickley Valley Community Fund to support the continued growth and expansion of its BROADcast Concert Series.
BROADcast brings musicians and audiences together through engaging live performances that celebrate a wide range of musical traditions, styles, and artistic expressions. Through the series, the Foundation seeks to create meaningful opportunities for musicians while introducing audiences to performances and musical experiences they might not otherwise encounter.
Accessibility remains at the heart of BROADcast. Every concert is offered free of charge, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to experiencing live music. While voluntary donations are welcomed to help sustain the series, they are never expected or required.
Beyond the performances themselves, BROADcast is also an investment in the Sewickley community. By presenting distinctive musical programs, the Foundation hopes to attract visitors from throughout the Pittsburgh region, showcase Sewickley as a destination for arts and culture, and encourage audiences to explore the local businesses and community that make Sewickley special.
The grant from the Sewickley Valley Community Fund will help the Foundation broaden its programming, engage additional musicians, explore new types of performances, and support the administrative and organizational work necessary to sustain and expand the series.
As BROADcast continues to grow, the Foundation remains committed to making live music accessible, supporting artistic expression, and strengthening the connections between musicians, audiences, and the Sewickley community.
The Charles Wesley Music Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the Sewickley Valley Community Fund for recognizing the value of accessible arts programming and investing in opportunities that enrich the cultural life of the Sewickley Valley.
